Hospitaal in BANGKOK

    This yr I finally decided to get my eyes lasered. Had heard a lot of good things about health-care in Bangkok. Double checked the reviews and made appointment for my second day there, at the beginning of my sunny holiday to be able to enjoy snorkeling and jungle without lenses or contacts.

Yesterday Dr.CHATE said yes possible for both eyes. APPointment made for L eye today and R one 2 ds after. But then  1hr before the operation he discovered I had been wearing hard not soft lenses. So I had stopped wearing them too late... although he clearly had answered my mail months ago with stop 1 wk before. I even had stopped 2.5 wks before.

With my thin cornea the lasik can only be done once, so after some thinking the surgery is now delayed until my flight home. I got my money wired back, without the transfer expenses.

One eye lasik costs 40.000 but, or 8.000 Nok, 950 EUR. Two eyes at the same time 75.000 but.

My impression of Burmungrad hospital so far is good. Everything is checked everyday. So I found out that my temperature went up from 35.2 at home to 36.6 after 1 day in Bangkok, the second day 37.1.
